NoGrok ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our Chrome extension.
1. Data Collection
We adhere to a strict No Data Collection policy.
- We do not collect personal usage data.
- We do not track your browsing history.
- We do not collect your IP address or unique identifiers.
- The extension runs entirely client-side on your local device.
2. Data Usage
The extension reads the text content of web pages you visit (strictly limited to x.com and twitter.com) solely for the purpose of identifying and hiding spam posts containing specific keywords (e.g., "Hey Grok"). This processing happens momentarily in your browser's Random Access Memory (RAM) and is never stored, logged, or transmitted to any external server.
3. Third-Party Services
The extension is distributed via the Google Chrome Web Store. Google may collect anonymous usage statistics (such as the number of installs) in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. We do not use any other third-party analytics or tracking services.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
5. Contact
If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, please contact us.
