FAQ.

How does NoGrok work?

NoGrok scans the text of tweets in your timeline. If it finds specific patterns like 'Hey Grok' or 'Yo Grok', it hides those posts from view using CSS.

Is it safe to use?

Yes. The extension runs entirely locally on your browser. It does not send any data to external servers.

Does it block all AI content?

No. It specifically targets the 'Grok' prompt spam that is currently plaguing the platform. Other AI content or genuine mentions of Grok in a non-spam context might still be visible if they don't match the spam patterns.

Is it free?

Yes, NoGrok is 100% free to use.

Will it slow down my browser?

No. The code is extremely lightweight and optimized to run without impacting page load times or responsiveness.

Can I customize what to block?

Currently, blocking rules are curated by us to ensure effectiveness. We may add custom keyword blocking in a future update.
